Printed (paper) copies of the newsletter are available for free in our lobby and sent to OUUF members & pledging friends that have requested to be on the postal mail list maintained by the Communications newsletter team.

To subscribe, send an email to QUEST Editor  with “Subscribe Quest” as the subject and include the following in the body of the email - - your: name; email address (must match account sent from); OUUF status; newsletter format requested (PDF/email or printed/mailed); and why you want to receive our congregation's newsletter.   (This is to prevent spammers and ensure that we are only sending the newsletter attachment to those that actually want it.)  The newsletter is sent out via email from a GoogleGroup.

Contribute to the Quest!!     Please send your submissions, suggestions, requests, comments, and constructive criticisms to me via email [QUEST Editor], in person, in the Quest file folder at church, by fax, or mailed directly to me.

What do you want your Quest newsletter to be? Have in it? Not have in it? … etc

Together we can create our fellowship newsletter to have something for each / all of us.

The Quest Deadline is the Monday Before the Final Sunday of Month!  Submissions to the Quest should cover information & content all the way to at least the first Sunday of the following month.

The Deadline for the September issue is Monday August 23rd. [Information at least through October 3rd.]
Upcoming Deadlines are:

November issue = Monday October 25th
December issue = Monday November 23rd
January issue = Monday December 19th

In accordance with UUA newsletter & publicity guidelines, until we have waivers on file permitting us to publicize someone’s personal information, NO personal phone numbers, email addresses, addresses, nor any other information beyond names will be published by the Quest newsletter team unless they are part of a new & specific submission each month.

Submission Preferences & Guidelines:    I prefer “soft” copy submissions via email, either as attached Word / text / Excel documents or as the text in/of the email that I can easily copy & paste via Word.  PDF documents as submissions will be handled as if “hard” copy submissions because I’ll have to type them in.

This newsletter’s standard font is Verdana 12. If it is really, really important to you that I use the exact font of your submission, then please so specify - - with the understanding that I reserve the right to determine which font style I will use & that it must be at least as legible as Verdana 12.

If you are submitting ‘hard’ copy (on paper) then please get it to me at least 3 days before the deadline (either in person, in my file folder at church, by fax, or mailed directly to me).

Publication Format:   Starting with the January 2010 issue, only the PDF version of the Quest is posted on the webpage for download.    If you do not already have free Adobe Reader installed on your computer, then please look into doing so.
